Kerala government accords administrative sanction for projects worth 300 lakhs under RGSA
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has accorded administrative sanction for utilizing Rs 300 lakh for Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) components. Of this amount, Rs 200 lakhs will be distributed for SO certification of Grama panchayats and Rs 100 lakh for monitoring and programme management.
The salary of MIS specialists and programmer shall be fixed according to government norms and an action plan for regular monitoring of ISO certification progress, strengthening of MIS , mechanism for updating vital status will be incorporated in the project.

The director of panchayats and nodal officer of RGSA had earlier submitted a detailed proposal under RGSA annual plan 2017-18 for an amount of Rs 300 lakhs. The proposal was approved in the department working group meeting held on June 13.
